Virginia Graeme Baker Pool & Spa Safety Act
On December 17, 2007, the Virginia Graeme Baker Pool and Spa Safety Act (VGB Act) was signed into law.
The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) is the federal agency responsible for enforcing the VGB Act. Compliance checks and recalls that are associated with products are responsibilities of the CPSC.
On March 1, 2010, CPSC Commissioners cast a series of votes on the implementation of the VGB Act, including decisions on the administration and enforcement of the Act.
