Step into Swim Funding

Guidelines to Apply for Step Into Swim Funding

The Step Into Swim™ Goal

Create 1 million MORE swimmers within the next 10 years.

Introduction
The purpose of this document is to provide guidance to organizations who wish to apply for Step Into Swim™ funding. Our general approach is to find like-minded individuals or organizations who are passionate about expanding a program that will create more swimmers. Based on information in the White Paper, NSPF prefers to support programs for children, and in less affluent communities, and amongst people who fear water.

The Position
Everything we do we believe will help more people live healthier lives. We believe we make a difference with products and programs that keep pools safer and keep pools open.   The Step Into Swim campaign is one such program that helps keep pools open by helping more people become swimmers.  More swimmers will result in a healthier society, fewer drowning incidents, and reduced healthcare costs with more people engaged in a healthy spectrum of aquatic activities.

Request for Funding
The Step Into Swim™ request for funding is now available. Please click here to complete the form. Should you have questions completing the form, please email Katie Wilke Junkers.

Note:  Facilities requesting funding who have a Certified Pool / Spa Operator® (CPO®) on staff will be given priority. Learn how to become a Certified Pool / Spa Operator.
