WAHC Track Tuesday: Advanced Chemistry 2017

Who Should Attend?
Learning about the effects and benefits of water chemistry is of value to everyone. The topics discussed in this track are designed especially for pool operators, facility directors, NSPF Instructors, and manufacturers. Register for this track after reviewing the titles below.

What Will be Covered?
Ernest “Chip” Blatchley, III, Ph.D., Professor of Civil Engineering and the Division of Environmental & Ecological Engineering, will be leading the four tracks on Advanced Chemistry on Friday, October 20, in Denver, CO. Tracks include Chlorine Chemistry, Effects of UV-Based Treatment on Air and Water Quality in Pools, Factors that Affect Air Quality in Indoor Facilities, and Mixing in Indoor Pool Facilities. Thursday's Advanced Chemistry track, led by various speakers, will focus on biofilm, chlorine dioxide as an alternative disinfectant, pharmaceuticals and PCP’s, advanced oxidation processes, and sphagnum moss as it relates to organic load and disinfection byproducts.
