In order to be considered for a grant from the National Swimming Pool Foundation, the applicant must be a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization. The purpose of
grant funding from the National Swimming Pool Foundation is to encourage healthier living and increased aquatic activity by preventing swimming pool and
spa injury, illness, and drowning or demonstrating aquatic activity health benefit. Requests solely for building, equipment, educational, and/or other programs will not be considered.
Grant funding requests should follow the format of the Grant Funding Application (link below) and should fulfill the research specifications of the current
grant year Request for Proposal (as available, RFP link will be published below). Grant year 2015 RFP is a collaborative effort between the Conference on
the Model Aquatic Health Code (CMAHC), American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE), and the National Swimming Pool
Foundation (NSPF) to address factors that affect indoor air quality and corresponding measurement instrumentation; and factors related to combined
chlorines and relative measurement instrumentation.
Priority funding will be based on several factors outlined in the Grant Funding Application. Non-profit organizations interested in submitting a grant
funding request to the National Swimming Pool Foundation should carefully review this document. Grant requests will not be considered without complete
documentation as outlined.
The grant request submission deadline is June 1 of each year. Applications will be reviewed and acted on by August 31. Applicants will be notified of the
