Angie Proctor has been a driving force in the Aquatic Fitness Industry for over 20 years. Her career in aquatics began in the mid 1980’s when she decided to become an AEA Certified Aquatic Fitness Instructor. Sport and Fitness have long been a part of her life and she decided to take it to the next level. Shortly thereafter, she became an AEA Trainer Specialist, conducting Training Programs and Certifications across the U.S and certified over 3,000 candidates while in that position. Angie left a successful career in banking when she took over her family’s business, a well-known waterfront eatery on the West Coast of Florida. She took over the Board of AEA in 1993 and moved Operations from Wisconsin to Florida. Shortly after that, she sold the restaurant so she could focus her energy on making AEA a global organization rather than just a strong U.S. Organization. AEA is now recognized is over 36 countries.

Angie is the Executive Director of the Aquatic Exercise Association and the President of Personal Body Trainers / Innovative Aquatics. She has produced over 100 videos, CD’s and DVD’s specific to aquatic fitness and marketing and aquatic personal training.

She has trained and donated her time to autistic children and AIDS patients to help them on their road to better health and comfort. She and her team donated endless time and energy to raise over $14,000 for Hurricane Katrina victims.
In 2007 after her dear friend and AEA Vice President of Sales, Kim Huff, succumbed to cancer, Angie initiated the KPH Fund and through this has donated over $5,000 to Ovarian Cancer Research. Currently the KPH fund is providing under-privileged women scholarships for aquatic fitness training and education.

Angie has consulted for Dynamix Music, Thera-Band, Hydro-Tone, Aquatic Trends and Speedo. Working with RYKA in Korea, she assisted in developing the first aquatic fitness shoe designed specifically for vertical aquatic exercise.
Angie has brought her unique and dynamic style of presenting to over 40 countries, making her one of the top requested presenters in the industry. Her unbridled passion and dedication for aquatic fitness and increased global health is evident in everything she does.
