Filtration systems for swimming pools are being scrutinized by Health Departments and Health professionals as never before, and we are all looking for a way to obtain “super filtration”. One key element will be with Certified Cellulose Filtration Media, now that a standard has been set by NSF, International. We will discuss the various types of filtration available and explain why certified cellulose fiber is superior to all other types. During this seminar we will examine the NSF Standard and the key components that set this media apart from others, including DE. An Indiana native who has been in the pool and spa business in Florida for 30 years, David has diverse professional industry experience. He has owned his own service company and pool construction company, and had worked as a wholesale distribution branch manager for 10 years before joining Jack’s Magic Products. He is a past President of the Florida Swimming Pool Association, the Florida affiliate to the APSP for Region VII, and he currently serves as their Safety Council Chairman. David is also a National Swimming Pool Foundation® Certified Pool-Spa Operator® Instructor.
