New Emergency Response Planning Online Course Launched by NSPF® The new Emergency Response Planning (ERP) online training course was launched this week by the National Swimming Pool Foundation® (NSPF®). The course teaches managers how to develop an effective emergency response action plan. "Planning for calamity can mean the difference between misery and prosperity," stresses Thomas M. Lachocki, Ph.D., and CEO of NSPF. "Whether you are managing an aquatic facility, manufacturing plant, retail store, building or service company, emergency response planning must be the number one priority to preserving the health and safety of your employees, patrons and business." This interactive course features narration, images, video, and exercises and includes a copy of the recently published NSPF handbook Emergency Response Planning. The course can be completed in about two hours and costs $50.00 USD per student. NSPF is an approved Authorized Provider by the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET). Poster Session and Juried Aquatic Art Exhibition Adds to Texture of Conference American Red Cross and National Swimming Pool Foundation® Promote The American Red Cross and National Swimming Pool Foundation® announced today the premiere of the online Home Pool Essentials™: Maintenance and Safety course. Home Pool Essentials teaches pool care and water safety techniques to help home pool and hot tub owners stay safer and enjoy a well maintained environment this summer. For an enrollment fee of $19.95, the course allows consumers to learn at their leisure at www.HomePoolEssentials.org.
